In light of the imminent disappearance of the Fauvettes housing project in Pierrefitte-sur-Seine, Alexia Fiasco's photographic and social approach reminds us that a housing project is above all an incredible relational factory: the shared history of families who know each other, neighbors who greet each other, children who have learned to play together, conversations and sharing.
In collaboration with Alexia Fiasco, the residents depict the portrait of this housing project in an interweaving of faces and materials.
All these images, these deposited traces, compose an archive of the intangible. Conceived as a farewell ceremony, this reparative project aims to accompany the residents through the painful process of demolishing a neighborhood. Read more -
